The floured discs easily emboss stenciled designs onto the dough as it rises for its final time before being baked. Flour that's left on the surface of the raised or proofed dough creates the decorative crust as bread bakes. The set includes 1 each wheat and sun designs. These are ideal for making decorative Irish soda bread, sourdough, French bread, whole grain, gluten-free, and other artisan bread recipes. For best results, grease the inside of a mixing bowl or proofing bowl (also known as a banneton bowl) and the design side of the embosser.
