Late fall and winter is a time of holidays and entertaining. Be sure to include hot mulled wine or cider in your cold-weather festivities. Whether served in front of a roaring fire or out of a thermos on a ski-slope, a steamy cup of cider will always be appreciated!
Tantalizing aromatherapy is an added bonus when experiencing this wonderful blend of whole allspice, cloves, cinnamon chips, and orange peel. Simmer a small amount of A Special Season mix in water as you would a potpourri. Your home will have that wonderful holiday smell.Â

SPECIAL SEASON SEASONING RECIPES
Hot Mulled Cider- ½ Cup   Brown Sugar
- ¼ tsp.    salt
- 2 Quarts Cider
- 1 Tps. Â A SPECIAL SEASON
Combine brown sugar, salt, and cider. Fill a tea infuser full of spices and add to the cider. Slowly bring to boiling, simmer covered for 20 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers and reheat in the microwave a cup at a time as needed.
Note:Â Burgundy wine or other juices may be used.
Note:Â A party percolator works well for doubling or tripling the recipe. Tie spices in a cheesecloth bag.

NOTE:Â Place contents of package into a clean jar. Shake well. It is important to mix up the spices before making each recipe. Store remaining dry mix in a cool, dry place.
