12/03/2024 Traditional Sourdough Workshop Copy

In this new and unique class, we are excited to offer you the opportunity to learn the nutritional benefits of sourdough bread. In addition, we will teach how to activate and feed your bread starter and how to make bread. This class is hands-on, and you will make a traditional dough to take home and bake.

We will also demonstrate how to score your bread to make fun and interesting designs while highlighting the importance and process of scoring bread.

While preparing your dough, you will sample a freshly baked loaf of sourdough served with Olive & Herb's infused olive oil and vinegars. As with all our classes, you will leave with the recipes to recreate your perfect loaf!

Class times: This class starts promptly at 9:30 AM and ends at approximately 11:00 AM; please arrive 10 minutes early to give yourself time to get settled.  Please note the start time, as some classes are offered during the day!  After the class, attendees are welcome to shop at our store; you will receive 10 percent off your purchase.  Only one person per paid ticket. Children are not allowed to attend class unless prearranged by Olive & Herb. 

What you Need to Bring: You need to bring a 3-4 qt glass or stainless mixing bowl with you to class. Please contact store if you do not have one 970.775.2854

About our classes: Unless otherwise noted in the description, all classes are demonstration-style cooking.  We work hard to show you how to pair our oils and vinegars in easy and fun ways within a themed menu!  We will provide you with copies of the recipes served so you can recreate your experience.   

We invite you to bring your own wine or other beverages to enjoy with the meal; we provide the glassware and expect alcohol to be consumed responsibly.

Cancellation Policy: A one-week notice is required to cancel enrollment in any class. After that, a refund will not be able to be granted. To cancel, please call the store at 970.775.2854.  If you are experiencing illness, please give us at least 24 hours' notice, or we cannot reschedule your class.  Please note that all cancellations will have a three percent restocking fee.  

Furthermore, understand that by purchasing a ticket and attending our class, you are granting Olive & Herb permission and the right to use your likeness in our marketing materials either via a photo or other electronic media. We have the right to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, or publish these photos for any lawful purpose. Pictures and other electronic media will not be sold or distributed for profit.  We will not compensate you for our use of these photos.
