Classic Caprese Salad

Caprese salad incorporates the colors of the Italian flag with red tomatoes, white mozzarella, and green basil, making this dish a true Italian classic!

This dish comes together in minutes and is a great to bring to a potluck or pair with a crusty baguette and glass of wine for a Friday night dinner. Finished with our Sweet Basil Balsamic Vinegar, this recipe is sweet, tangy, herbaceous, and creamy!


  • 10 Basil Leaves, chiffonade cut


  1. Slice mozzarella and tomatoes into ¼” thick pieces. On a serving platter layer tomatoes and mozzarella by rotating between each one.

  2. Drizzle mozzarella and tomatoes with vinegar and olive oil.

  3. Top salad with basil and sea salt. Serve immediately.
