Black Garlic Umami Noodles

Umami or savory taste is one of the five basic tastes (along with sweet, salty, sour, and bitter). A combination of our Black Garlic Tamari Balsamic and Black Garlic Shiitake Rub layer flavor in this noodle dish provides a delightfully savory experience you can create at home. We love that this is a quick dish with only 2 steps - perfect for a weeknight dish.

Directions:

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking all of the sauce ingredients together. Set aside.

  2. In a wide skillet. heat the olive oil. Once hot, add the zucchini, pepper and sprinkle with sea salt. Once tender, about 5 minutes, add the noodles and sauce. Stir to coat. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the noodles are cooked throughout and the sauce has thickened.

Recipe Note:

 Substitute rice noodles to make this dish gluten-free.
